We have a small stable of classic British tandem bicycles, available for stress free all day hire.

Choose from a number of safe, quiet routes, or create your own adventure, luxury picnic hampers are available and a recovery service gives you complete peace of mind.

• What is a tandem ? It's a bicycle made for two ! - The 'Captain' at the front steers, the 'stoker' behind helps pedal, and gets to enjoy the view (of course you can swap at any time).
• Can anyone ride one ?You need to be over 14, and able to ride a bike confidently to 'captain' one of our tandems.
• Are they easy to ride ?A tandem has significantly less drag and weight than two bicycles, so you can go further faster than a regular bike, our electric assist tapers off at 25kph, but downhill speed is not limited.
• Is it fun?YES - joyous, effortless, quiet, you can just have normal conversation, no swerving, or shouting required. A great sense of teamwork.
• What should I bring on my ride?Our basket contains many handy essentials, including water, sunscreen, emergency blankets, puncture repair items, sanitry items, sunglasses, feel free to bring your own, but if you don't we probably have you covered
• What if we get tired/sore?We offer recovery service, so if you get tired or have a mechanical issue, we can come and collect you and your bike(s). (reasonable costs apply)
• Do you only have tandems?No, we operate two Electrified Pashley Princess singles bikes too - if you don't get on with a tandem or have an odd number in your party, we can accommodate
• What if I don't have a helmet?We offer helmets, gloves and high visibilit vests for free with every hire - but we strongly recommend you use them.
• What if I don't have a bike lock?The bike will have a lock and all bikes are fitted with trackers for breakdown location and theft recovery (honestly, we've got that stuff all covered)
• Am I insured? We carry public liability cover for our business, Riders are responsible for their own safety and actions.
• What if the bike is damaged or stolen?Unless it was plainly your fault, (malicious damage, temper tantrum, stunt riding, bike abandoned, left unlocked), there will be no charge beyond our normal recovery fee.
• What if I drop the bike, scratch the paint, rip a saddle, bend a brake lever.Don't worry those would be considered normal wear and tear, and not chargeable.
